Creating Checkout Rules
MMIO allows you to create checkout rules to automatically apply at checkout.
Example scenarios:
Free shipping for orders above $80
$10 off total cart value when order is above $100
25% off total cart value when 2 products are added to cart
Here’s how you can start creating checkout rules for your store:
Go to Ecommerce > Checkout Settings
Select the store you want to create the checkout rules for
Click Create Checkout Rule
Enter your Rule Name
Click Next
Define Trigger Actions When conditions
Any Conditions Are Met - Checkout rules will apply when any one of the conditions are met at checkout
All Conditions Are Met - Checkout rules will only apply when all conditions are met at checkout.
Define conditions to trigger checkout rules. You can add multiple conditions for each checkout rule.
Product and Quantity Condition Type
Choose Products you want to trigger the checkout rules
Set Quantity Operator
Set Quantity
Total Order Amount Condition Type
Set Quantity Operator
Set Quantity
Click Next
Define Actions to take at checkout. You can add multiple actions for each checkout rule.
Set Action (New Shipping Cost or New Subtotal Amount)
Set Action Specific
Set Value
Click Add Action if you require more actions at checkout.
Click Save to create checkout rule
Toggle Status to Enabled to turn on checkout rules for your store
Editing Checkout Rules
You can edit each checkout rule to change its name, trigger conditions and checkout actions.
Go to Ecommerce > Checkout Settings
Select the store you want to create the checkout rules for
Under the Action column, click on the edit icon to edit the checkout rule
Make the necessary changes.
Click Save to save your changes.
Deleting Checkout Rules
You can delete checkout rules you no longer use.
Go to Ecommerce > Checkout Settings
Select the store you want to create the checkout rules for
Under the Action column, click on the bin icon to delete the selected checkout rule
Select Yes, Delete This Checkout Rule to confirm.
Note: You cannot undo once you have deleted the checkout rule. Once deleted, it is gone forever.
